New Product Line Delivers Cryo-Mojo
Like most competitive athletes I began icing to reduce pain and inflammation when nagging injuries started popping up. In order to become more competitive in sports, we push ourselves to the brink of exhaustion and at some point the body breaks down. As a former professional beach volleyball player I literally iced up to 5 times per day to regulate swelling and pain in common problem areas. MMA athletes incur acute injuries and suffer from chronic ailments as much as any athlete and both can be brought to healthy justice in part with an effective icing routine…but what’s the best way to administer “cryotherapy”?

As a beach volleyball player it was solely up to me to stay healthy in order to consistently train and compete in my sport. I used to use either plastic baggies or the old English style ice bag to habitually treat my knee, shoulder and low back. Problem with this method is three-fold. First, it’s messy with water drips and tough to secure with compression. Second, sometimes direct application of ice (or gel pack) is too cold and may cause frostbite if not careful. Third, I was reliant on ice being available which was sometimes a problem so I’d be aching until I could find some (i.e. beg the counter person at a restraint for a large bag of ice). Enter Moji!

Moji is a two-piece construction cryotherapy product that uses a joint-specific compression wrap and a unique cold cell to administer the ideal healing temperature, and for a safe duration of time – 20 minutes. What’s nice is the cold cell comes out of the freezer already soft and pliable so it contours to the body. Never have I experienced such a clean and comfortable icing experience than with Moji. Moji also enables you to be mobile and productive while nursing an injury so you don’t have to balance those frozen peas on your area of concern while lying down and out of commission.

Since the best time to ice is often times right after training, workouts or competitions Moji offers a special thermos-like canister that keeps your cold cell at the optimal temperature for 4-6 hours. So, go ahead and beat yourself up because Moji’s new line of icing products are cooler (pun intended) than most.
