SLO Kickboxing's Submission Fight Team's inception began with a group of grapplers lead by Scott Adams and Chuck Liddell. The team took bits and pieces from each style they encountered until they settled into the submission style that is now taught at their school.
While the school has much of its roots in collegiate wrestling the best from brazillian jiu-jitsu, judo, kempo and many other styles have been fused to form the ground fighting techniques that are now taught to first day attendees as well as professional fighters.
Our Philosophy: We wan't to be on top and want the person on bottom to be unhappy we are on top. Otherwise, when in doubt... choke them.
